04-17-11 --- Manoa Falls

We saw the sign after having survived a little journey which took us downtown and back out of town again...

But as soon as we found the first signs everything went super straight.

"Hiking" up to the Manoa Falls is more like a walk through the jungle. You see many high trees and flowers.

We got there very fast and easy and were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery!

Since we still had time and energy we continued our hike all the way up a mountain and were rewarded with a great view!

Unfortunately, it started to rain on the way back, so we all got wet and dirty, but still had fun!

04-09-11 --- Waikiki Aquarium and Kailua Beach

Went there on a saturday and discovered that we didn't have to pay any entrance fee at all because they had a family day where the children got educated about saving the planet.

That was a very interesting event. We learned a lot about saving the fragile environment on the islands, and enjoyed the aquarium!

04-08-11 --- New Otani Kaimana Beach

The New Otani is located between Waikiki and Hawai'i Kai. A nice, luxurious hotel, with a restaurant at the beach. Went there with Sunny and Miki to have dinner and some cocktails. Delicious food, good drinks, though all was quite expensive... but, who cares? ;)

04-03-11 --- Koko Head

This, again, is a hike you have to do! Do it in the early morning, so you can see the sunrise. Or do it in the late morning early afternoon like we did, and die, because the sun is so brutal, it's bbqing you ;) in this case: take lots of water with you and a hat.

04-01-11 --- First Friday

Always a nice possibility to get in touch with the locals downtown :) all happens around the HPU and Chinatown. And, as the title says, every first friday of the month.

03-24-11 --- O'ahu Tour #2

Again sth you can do twice or more. And you will always have fun!
